Hot Stone Massage
Californian massage is a holistic massage, created from a mixture of massage techniques with their origins in Ayurvedic, Thai, and Hawaiian massage. This form of massage is based on long movements that encompass the whole body. The massage is both restorative and liberating; profound and intense. The main objective of Californian massage is to enable a person to disconnect from their daily life and enter a state of deep relaxation.
A form of relaxation massage that focuses on the face, head, neck, scalp which are important energy centers within the body. This form of massage is very relaxing and helps to release stress and tension creating a sense of peace and well-being.
Hot stone massage involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage practitioner places the hot stones on specific points on your body, the localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the practitioner to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.
A weekly evening hatha yoga class at Flourish LAB. Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
A weekly lunchtime Shanti Yoga™ class at Flourish LAB. Shanti Yoga™ is a holistic style of hatha yoga. It delivers gentle, relaxing, mindful exercise and breathing, to open and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit, strengthen joints, muscles, tendons and bones, increase flexibility, nourish the internal organs and stimulate the circulation of energy in your body.
A regular evening drop-in meditation class offering practical instruction on how to enjoy a peaceful, positive mind in modern daily life. Learn practical methods to solve the issues we face in daily life. Classes include two guided meditations and a teaching from one of our qualified teachers, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. Everybody is welcome. No experience is necessary.
A regular weekly holistic class given by KORU. The class offers a variety of tools and techniques to help people reconnect and feel empowered. Support offered to develop resilience, recognise and manage emotions as well as develop communication, trust and conflict resolution skills.
